Join us to discover the charms of our capital, visiting the prominent Convent of San Francisco, built during the colonial era and still preserving valuable treasures from the viceregal period, including its famous catacombs. Later, savor the renowned Peruvian cuisine with a traditional lunch, and then continue exploring the archaeological center of Pachacamac, a place of worship for the Creator of the universe. This astonishing site comprises various enclosures such as the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Moon, pilgrimage sites, and the museum in the square where the sculpted image of the god Pachacamac is displayed.

Sacred Citadel Pachacamac: Full-Day Itinerary
We will begin picking up guests from their respective hotels between 09:00 and 09:50 in downtown Lima, then embark on our tour of the most significant places in the city. Our tour covers Lima’s three historical periods: Pre-Hispanic, Colonial, and Modern. We’ll start with a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana” and explore the impressive Historic Center of Lima, including palaces, mansions, churches, and squares. We’ll conclude the visit with a tour of the residential and financial area of San Isidro, as well as enjoying an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean in the district of Miraflores.
After a traditional lunch, we’ll continue south of Lima, where our local guide will provide detailed explanations. We’ll admire the panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, followed by the archaeological center of Pachacamac, which in its time was the most frequented by the ancient Andean peoples, who believed that Pachacamac was the creator of the universe. We’ll have access to the highest point of the archaeological center, where we’ll enjoy a spectacular view of the Lurín Valley and the Pacific Ocean. We’ll conclude the day by visiting the bohemian district of Barranco and the Villa swamps, one of the few natural reserves that still exists and serves as a refuge for over 150 species of migratory birds and exquisite flora.
We’ll end the tour with a visit to the famous Bridge of Sighs and the Leap of the Friar in the Barranco district, enjoying panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean during the journey.
