Day 1: Cusco City Tour
Commence your 3-day adventure with a guided exploration of Cusco’s outskirts, starting in the late morning. Visit the impressive Sacsayhuaman temple, explore Qenqo’s labyrinth, and discover the red fortress of Pucapucara and the water temple of Tambomachay.
Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour with Overnight in Machu Picchu Pueblo
Early in the morning, we commence our walk at 4:30 am to reach Machu Picchu just as the sun rises. It’s important to note that Machu Picchu opens at 6:00 am. Once the control point is open, the guide will lead you to the upper part of the city for photo opportunities. Subsequently, you will be guided through the entire Machu Picchu site for approximately 2 hours, followed by free time for independent exploration. After fully enjoying Machu Picchu, you will descend to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Ollantaytambo, and then the bus will take you back to Cusco.
Day 3: Machu Picchu Guided Tour – PM Return to Cusco by Train
Start the day with a guided tour of Machu Picchu. Afterward, catch a bus to Machu Picchu Pueblo and an afternoon train back to Cusco, concluding your memorable 3-day journey through the Inca Empire.
