Hotel pick-up service: At 4:00 a.m., you will meet your guide at your hotel in Cusco to begin your adventure. Travel to Ollantaytambo: After a short drive, you will arrive in Ollantaytambo, where you will take a 1.5-hour train ride to Chachabamba. Enjoy the scenery along the Urubamba River during the journey. Start of the trek: In Chachabamba (Km 104), you will begin your trek along the Inca Trail. You will explore the archaeological sites of Chachabamba and Wiñayhuayna, and admire the diverse flora and fauna of the area. Entrance to Machu Picchu: You will arrive at Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate, where you will enjoy one of the most impressive views of the Lost City of the Incas. This time will also allow you to see the city with fewer visitors and witness a spectacular sunset. Transportation to Aguas Calientes: After exploring, you will take a bus to Aguas Calientes. Here, you will stay in a 3-star hotel. You'll enjoy dinner and a comfortable night's rest.
