Hi, I’m Livia, founder of Tierra Biru. From a very young age, I felt a deep admiration for women entrepreneurs and dreamed of building something of my own that brought together my two greatest passions: travel and entrepreneurship.
In June 2014, I decided to take that step and create Tierra Biru—an agency inspired by a love for discovering new cultures, respect for local communities, and the desire to promote responsible, authentic tourism in Peru.
The name Tierra Biru was born from the stories my grandparents used to tell about Peru’s ancient name, Biru, a symbol of our roots and of the connection to this land that unites us.
Today, I still believe that every journey can be transformative—not only for those who explore, but also for those who share their home, their culture, and their history.
