Arequipa Colca Canyon 2D/1N
the Colca Canyon is a valley and canyon in Peru, located in the Caylloma Province, Arequipa Region. It is one of the deepest canyons in the world, with a depth of 4,160 meters. It is located in the Andes Mountains and is home to a rich biodiversity, including the Andean condor.
Itinerary
Day 1: Visit to Chivay
This DAY begins with pickup from hotels in Arequipa at 7:30 am, followed by a trip to Chivay. Along the way, stops are made at Pampa Cañahuas to observe vicuñas and at the Mirador de los Volcanes to enjoy panoramic views. Upon arrival in Chivay around 1:30 p.m., you will check in at your accommodation and have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the La Calera hot springs to relax. After a traditional dinner at 6:30 p.m., you will have free time to explore Chivay before spending the night.

Day 2: Visit to the Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint
The second day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by departure to the Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint, where you can observe the condors in flight and enjoy the impressive views of the canyon. On the way back to Chivay, you will visit traditional villages such as Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque. After lunch in Chivay, we return to Arequipa, arriving around 6:30 pm.
