Itinerary
Day 1: discovering the floating islands of uros and taquile
The tour to Uros and Taquile begins with pickup from your hotel in Puno between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., followed by boarding a boat from the port of Puno. At 8:00 a.m., we visit the Uros Floating Islands, where we can learn about the culture and traditions of this community for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. At 9:15 a.m., we set sail for Taquile Island, with a sailing time of approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arriving in Taquile at 10:30 a.m., we take a 25-minute walk to a local restaurant, where at 11:30 a.m., the guide provides an explanation of the island's culture and traditions. A typical lunch is served at 12:30 p.m., with options such as grilled trout and quinoa soup. After lunch, at 1:30 p.m., there is free time to explore the island and meet the locals. At 2:15 p.m., the return trip to Puno begins, with an expected arrival time around 4:00 p.m., where transfers will be made back to the hotels.
