Overview
This 6-day Cusco and Machu Picchu tour is designed for travelers who want to cover the region’s key stops within one organized route that begins and ends in Cusco.
After arriving in Cusco, you start with a city tour and nearby archaeological sites. The following days take you to Maras and Moray, through the Sacred Valley with visits to Pisac and Ollantaytambo, and by train to Machu Picchu Pueblo for a guided visit to Machu Picchu.
Back in Cusco, the itinerary includes a full day for Rainbow Mountain, with an early departure, transport toward Cusipata and a hike to Vinicunca. The final day ends with a transfer to Cusco airport.
As a 6-day Cusco package, the trip brings archaeology, Andean landscapes and Machu Picchu into one itinerary, with the principal visits and transfers arranged as part of the package rather than booked as separate excursions.

Itinerary

On arrival at Cusco airport, our team meets you and coordinates the transfer to your hotel. You then have time before the afternoon sightseeing begins.
The Cusco City Tour lasts approximately four hours and includes Qoricancha plus the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puca Pucara.
At the end of the tour, you return to your hotel in Cusco.
After breakfast, you travel from Cusco toward the Maras area to begin the excursion. A safety briefing is provided before the ATV section starts.
During the day, you visit Moray and continue through the Maras area. The excursion also includes a visit to the Maras Salt Mines.
After the visits, you return to Cusco.
The journey continues through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first part of the day includes a stop at the Taray viewpoint before continuing to Pisac, where you visit the archaeological complex and traditional market.
You then continue to Urubamba for lunch before traveling to Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological site.
After the Sacred Valley visits, you board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes, where the day ends.
From Machu Picchu Pueblo, the transfer continues by bus to Machu Picchu.
You visit the site with a professional guide, following the sectors included in the entrance and circuit assigned to the booking. The visit focuses on the architecture and layout of Machu Picchu within the authorized route.
After the visit, you travel back down to Machu Picchu Pueblo and begin the return journey to Cusco according to the transport schedule.
The day begins at approximately 4:30 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Cusco and a drive south by tourist transport.
The route continues toward Cusipata, where breakfast is served before traveling on to the starting point of the hike. From there, you walk for approximately one and a half hours toward the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint, also known as Vinicunca.
After visiting the viewpoint, you begin the return hike. Lunch is included in Cusipata before the journey back to Cusco, with arrival indicated at around 5:00 p.m.
After breakfast, you have the corresponding time before the transfer from your hotel to Cusco airport.
The transfer is coordinated according to your departure flight time. The Cusco–Lima flight is not included in the package.
