Experience the Pope Leo XIV Route in Cusco

At approximately 7:20 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, where we will await the Pope Leo XIV Press Conference.

This will be a truly special and memorable day, offering the opportunity to hear the words of the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, in an atmosphere filled with emotion and significance.

We recommend being ready in advance to ensure a smooth departure and make the most of this meaningful experience.

After breakfast at the hotel, our team will pick up the group and transfer you to the Sacsayhuamán esplanade, where you will take part in a special event in the presence of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.

This meaningful gathering will offer the opportunity to share a moment of faith, unity and joy while receiving the Holy Father’s blessing.

Throughout the event, the group will be accompanied by our professional guide and assistant, who will provide support during the activity. Each passenger will also receive an individual box lunch.

The activity is expected to conclude at approximately 2:00 PM.

We will pick you up from your accommodation at approximately 7:30 AM to begin an unforgettable journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of the most beautiful and historically important regions of the ancient Inca Empire.

Our first experiences include a stop at a traditional textile center in Chinchero, where you will learn about the traditional Andean spinning and weaving process.

We will then continue to Pisac, where you can explore its colorful traditional market filled with handicrafts, textiles, jewelry and local products. Afterward, we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Park.

The journey continues to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will explore the impressive Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo before heading to the train station for your journey to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night before visiting Machu Picchu.

Today is the highlight of your journey: Machu Picchu.

We will head to the Consettur bus station for the ride from Machu Picchu Pueblo to the archaeological site. Upon arrival, you will present your entrance ticket and identification documents before entering the legendary Inca citadel.

Enjoy a guided visit of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, giving you time to discover the site and capture memorable photographs.

After the tour, we will take the bus back to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where you will have time to have lunch and relax before heading to the train station.

Depending on your scheduled departure, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. At the appropriate time, according to your flight schedule, our transportation will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Cusco Airport.
