Reach one of the Andes’ most breathtaking landscapes on the Humantay Lake Full-Day Tour, a perfect experience for nature and adventure lovers. From Cusco, travel through Andean valleys to Soraypampa (3,900 m), where the trek begins. The approximately 2-hour ascent rewards you with dramatic mountain views and crisp high-altitude air, leading to the spectacular Humantay Lake (4,200 m), famous for its turquoise waters and mystical atmosphere. An unforgettable full-day trip for epic scenery and lasting memories.
We start very early at 04:30 a.m. with hotel pick-up in Cusco and travel northeast by tourist transport. Along the way, we pass charming Andean towns and valleys, going through Limatambo and arriving in Mollepata, where we enjoy an energizing breakfast before continuing to Soraypampa (3,900 m), the starting point of the hike. We begin the approximately 2-hour climb to the stunning Humantay Lake (4,200 m), known for its turquoise waters and surrounded by majestic mountain scenery and high-altitude flora. At the lake, you’ll have free time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this place considered sacred in Andean culture.
