Itinerary
Make your dream trip come true at one of the world’s most iconic wonders: the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. On this full-day tour you’ll explore temples, terraces, and sacred spaces with a bilingual guide, learning the history, architecture, and enduring mysteries of this Andean sanctuary. The Consettur bus ride takes you comfortably up to the entrance, and once inside you’ll enjoy an approximately 2-hour guided tour of the full circuit, understanding why Machu Picchu is both an engineering masterpiece and a breathtaking natural site. After the visit, enjoy free time in Aguas Calientes for lunch and a stroll before returning by train to Ollantaytambo and then by vehicle to Cusco. A must-do experience for travelers seeking living history, epic scenery, and unforgettable memories.
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your entry time, we pick you up and transfer to the bus station to board the Consettur bus to Machu Picchu, a climb of about 25 minutes. Upon arrival, we go through the entrance control, so it’s essential to bring your original passport and physical ticket. Inside the citadel, your guide provides detailed information about Machu Picchu’s history, architecture, and meaning, completing the circuit in roughly 2 hours and highlighting the most emblematic viewpoints and sectors. After the tour, we return by bus to Aguas Calientes (about 25 minutes) and have free time for lunch at your own expense and to enjoy the town. Later, we board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you by tourist transport to your hotel in Cusco, ending an unforgettable day at the Inca citadel.
