Add adrenaline to your Sacred Valley experience with a quad bike (ATV) tour that blends adventure, nature, and Inca heritage in one exciting morning. After a short transfer from Cusco, you’ll reach the base in Cruz Pata for a guided practice session—perfect for building confidence before riding. Then you’ll drive to the impressive circular terraces of Moray, learning about their role as an Inca agricultural laboratory while enjoying epic Andean scenery. The adventure continues to the Maras Salt Mines, a unique site where salt is still produced artisanally in thousands of shimmering ponds. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Verónica and Chicón snow-capped peaks—making this tour a perfect mix of thrills, culture, and unforgettable photos.
We start with hotel pick-up in Cusco at 06:40 a.m. and travel about 50 minutes by tourist transport to the village of Cruz Pata. Upon arrival, we do a 15–20 minute practice session on the quad bikes, getting familiar with handling and safety gear for a smoother ride. Once ready, we begin the ATV route to the experimental terraces of Moray, where your guide explains the importance of this archaeological site and its connection to studying microclimates and crops. After the visit, we return to the base and continue by tourist transport to the Maras Salt Mines, an incredibly beautiful place where salt is produced artisanally; your guide will explain the natural and traditional extraction process. During the journey, enjoy magnificent views of the Verónica and Chicón snow-capped mountains, surrounded by a magical landscape close to nature. At the end of the tour, we return to Cusco.
