Maras & Moray + Picnic Half-Day Tour from Cusco, Peru

We start with pick-up in Cusco and travel into the Sacred Valley toward Moray, an Inca agricultural laboratory where circular terraces reveal the civilization’s advanced engineering and agricultural knowledge. Your guide explains how the terraces helped cultivate different products adapted to various microclimates by taking advantage of changes in temperature and sun exposure. Next, we continue to Maras to visit the famous salt mines, a spectacular landscape of thousands of salt ponds used since pre-Inca times, where the traditional extraction method still continues through local families.
